The Church Will Remain Verse 1 Mountains may crumble, the oceans run dry The sun, moon and stars may fall out of the sky Nothing can alter what God has ordained He promised that forever His church will may remain CHORUS It passed through the fire that made martyrs of men It burned like a beacon where darkness had been. persecution and oppression in the history of Christianity to overcome, to remain faithful, to not give up, when it got worse, even to the point of death.
Failure to do so resulted in facing the second death, or eternal condemnation. To keep the order we must have elders. A brother needs much grace to be an elder. There are very many needs in the church. To be an elder, a person has to be broken, broad-minded, full of Christ, humble in the spirit, and patient in the spirit.
“Church” is the translation of the Greek term ekklesia, and is used in the New Testament to identify the community of believers in Jesus Christ. It literally means “assembly,” “congregation,” or “meeting.” It is worth mentioning that in the New Testament, no synagogue, temple, chapel, tabernacle, building or any other meeting place was ever called a “church.”.

Unity is absolutely essential because the church is the “body of Christ” (1 Corinthians ), and a body cannot be in disunity or disharmony with itself. If disunity occurs, it essentially ceases to be a body and becomes a disjointed group of individuals.
Jesus’ plan for His church. Similarly, each church today has the potential of disunity over such things as ethnic culture, church culture, doctrinal differences, personality differences, and personal preferences.
Disunity is something the church must be aware of and wisely labor against. Moreover, it must be noted that unity does not mean conformity.
